Why go
Areopoli’s stone streets make a strong first stop. From there, the coves around Limeni and the Diros area show how Mani’s architecture meets the sea. This is a landscape to explore slowly, with one or two chosen stops rather than a race around the peninsula.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
The drive from Agios Dimitrios is substantial. If you want to visit the Diros caves, verify the current visitor arrangements separately; otherwise let the town and coast fill the day.
