Kastania Cave reveals varied limestone formations along a visitor route. Nearby Panagia is a pair of small shores, one sandier and one pebbly, beneath steep hills. Seeing both makes a day of contrasting light and landscape.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
This is a longer drive towards Neapoli. Check the cave’s current opening arrangements before departure, and choose the beach only after judging the wind and sea.
