Why go
Neapoli is more than a name on the road to Elafonisos. Its waterfront makes a useful pause between the inland drive and the beaches, caves and geological sights farther south. Walk the promenade and decide whether the day calls for a town stop or a longer excursion.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
Use Neapoli as a practical base for a day towards the petrified forest or Kastania Cave. Check current museum and attraction opening arrangements separately, rather than building the day around an assumed schedule.
