Why go
The road to Gerakas ends at a long, narrow inlet where boats gather under the surrounding hills. It is a place to slow down at the water rather than a typical sandy-beach stop. The nearby Zarakas ruins and the route towards Riechia give the harbour a wider landscape to explore.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
Make Gerakas the start of a northern coastal drive and continue towards Vlychada if the roads and daylight suit. Check restaurant opening locally, especially outside summer.
