Vlychada lies below Riechia, where the mountain road drops towards the Myrtoan Sea. The setting is the main attraction: steep slopes, rock and clear water. It suits travellers who enjoy the journey as much as the swim.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
From the retreat, approach via the Parnon villages or via Monemvasia and Gerakas, choosing the route that suits conditions. The descent is winding; allow daylight for the return and check the sea before swimming.
