Plytra offers a lived-in waterfront, while Karavostasi gives the day another stretch of clear water. The partly submerged ancient settlement near Plytra adds a reason to look more closely at this coast. Observe archaeological remains without touching or removing anything.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
Plan both places as one outing from the retreat, with time for a waterfront meal rather than rushing from beach to beach. Conditions for snorkelling depend on the sea and visibility on the day.
