Why go
After the winding climb, take a seat under the plane trees in the square at Kosmas. Coffee or a local sweet suits the mountain air; if you find milk pie, give it a try. With time to spare, you can continue towards the monastery of Elona.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
Pair Kosmas with Geraki if you want a day moving from castle village to mountain village. Check monastery access separately and allow for slower driving on the high roads.
