Why go
At Mari, the springs and stream bring a different feel to the Laconian landscape. Look for traces of old mills and stone washing places in the valley. Walk gently beside the water and leave the banks as you found them.
Plan it from Agios Dimitrios
This is one of the closer inland outings from the retreat. Take a picnic if you wish, but check current path conditions and avoid entering moving water after rain.
